Ms. Regina Armstrong Superintendent of Schools Hempstead Union Free School District
I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for inviting me and the four members of the Hempstead UFSD staff to participate in the BH365 Conference. I have received nothing but positive feedback from them. They were excited to learn more about the curriculum and its importance to developing the whole child. They left with a better understanding of how to implement the curriculum with success. All trainers were extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and exhibited a strong belief of the BH365 curriculum.
What an honor to participate in a conference that was created by US and for US! This was truly a unique phenomenon that needs to be shared many times throughout the year; once is just NOT enough! These amazing two days has given me more of an urgency to implement the curriculum K-12 in my district. Thank for igniting a fire in us to expose our students to this important and relevant account of American History.
I would also like to take the opportunity to thank BH365 for choosing me as one of your award recipients. It meant the world to me, to be acknowledged by such an awesome, professional, caring, and visionary company, but more importantly by God’s chosen people.
KUDOS to the BH365 Family for an exceptional conference!!

Black History 365 is the comprehensive, holistic, text and image K-12 curriculum we have so intensely desired that fills a tremendous void in today's educational enrichment landscape.
Loida Lewis, Chair, Reginald F. Lewis Foundation
Black History 365 should be in every home. It’s the complete history of the United States of America. Thank you Dr. Milton and Dr. Freeman for the enormous research they did to complete this monumental book. I advise every school, every College, every university, and every home—esp an African American home—to have this book because you will be amazed at the total history of African Americans in the United States. It’s sorrowful but in the end its triumphant.
Andrew Young, Civil Rights Activist, UN Ambassador
I encourage every school district throughout the United States to strongly consider adopting the comprehensive Black History 365 curriculum as their choice for African American studies.
Pete Babcock, Historian, NBA General Manager
Please give strong consideration for the inclusion of the Black History 365 curriculum in your school district.
W. Marvin Dulaney, Historian, Educator, President of ASALH
One could argue that Black History 365 is the culmination of the quest to bring together all of the videos, websites, online resources, maps, charts, graphs and the bulk of resources that have been developed by scholars, teachers, students and curriculum specialists to teach the African American experience over the past 40 years.
James Agbara Bryson, Great Grand Nephew of Annie Malone
Incorporating the Black History 365 process gives school districts the opportunity to teach Black History throughout the school year and to develop the next generation of change agents.
Bill Haley, Jr., Alex Haley’s Grandson
This powerful educational curricula breaks the shackles of traditional rote learning...nothing I have seen matches the breadth of educational tools and resources available through the Black History 365 curriculum.
