This guide is intended to assist teachers in facilitating their students’ understanding and en­joyment of the 3-8 grade textbooks by providing insights into three key instructional domains: pre-reading activ­ities, vocabulary instruction, and critical thinking through comprehension activities. Student will make personal connections, applying information to their own ex­periences, and critically analyzing their own perspectives.
